Spring at Cal Poly and SLO High

We are finally on our way after well over a year of preparation. It also took the outstanding support by lots of people here at Cal Poly, at San Luis Obispo High School and at home in Germany including my teams and my collegues at HdM, at Nathan's High School in Germany and many more e.g. friend and our tennants who are e.g. looking after the house at home. Checking in at Stuttgart Airport with nine pieces of luggage. Is everything necessary? Probably not, but we're packing for three seasons, so we've brought our skis, our inflatable kayak, camping gear and other potentially useful items. We were fortunate to book the flights using miles, which made the usually expensive business class affordable. The extra allowance was a bonus, allowing for more carry-on luggage and additional sports equipment for the skis and kayak.
