SLO High
I wouldn't call it a take-over, but most of those pictures are from Nathan.
They are from San Luis Obispo (or SLO) High where he was a Ninth Grader ("Freshmann").
I will resolve this mystery: those are the "cell phone pockets" which you will find in each classroom. Students have to put their smartphone into those pockets, failing to do so will get the students a "tardy".
We got several of those, but usually for Nathan being 1 minute late to class. Parents will know immediately because you will get a message to your cellphone.
Those are pictures from the food at the cafeteria which is - free! The only rule: you will get the food after you have picked something fresh, but with strawberries and more this is easy.
"Tigers" is the name of the sports team. Nathan can continue to use the T-Shirts and Hoodies for the basketball games in Tübingen.
The cool thing is that he made it into the Track&Field-Team as a distance runner,
First of call the competitions were fun and got Nathan around the Central Coast to various other High Schools.
The following pictures are not from an "official" school activities.
There is a tradition in the team for more than 30 years to camp out together once classes are over.
I was a little concerned, but the other kids were just great and parents kept exchanging phone numbers.
They only slept a few hours and it seems they had lots of fun by passing over various "unofficial" positions in the team, e.g. the guardian of the playstations.
